Bees are the poster child of the hive mind society, as all bees work towards the benefit of the colony and the queen bee. This means that they all, in sort, share a singular mind that determines what is best for the colony. A few examples of this are all of the bees actively controlling the temperature within the nest, collectively controlling the ventilation within the nest with their bodies depending on what is needed at the time, and swarming the queen bee to form a mass around her to protect her while looking for a new space for a nest. These creatures, while are all their own entity, effectively share a singular mind with a single purpose.
