Thank you! I was going to make it more busy, as bee swarms are very cluttered and busy, but the 101 piece limit forced me to make it a lot more simple. I do agree that the simplicity might have been for the better though!

Round 6 entry:

A few examples of this are all of the bees actively controlling the temperature within the nest, collectively controlling the ventilation within the nest with their bodies depending on what is needed at the time, and swarming the queen bee to form a mass around her to protect her while looking for a new space for a nest. These creatures, while are all their own entity, effectively share a singular mind with a single purpose.

With May the 4th around the corner, I've been in a Star Wars mood, so I decided to build an iconic scene from the Original trilogy for this round of the Rogue Olympics with a theme of "Uplift". The scene depicts master yoda proving to Luke Skywalker that size does not matter in the ways of the force, by lifting Luke's crashed X-wing out of the swamps of Dagobah.
This build uses exactly 101 pieces, which was pretty difficult to do. In order to cut down on the piece count so that i could have a thicker forest background, yoda is missing and arm and his lego, and the x wing is missing a wing.

Entry 4 : Balancing Act
ThemaBalancing Act
Originally I had wanted to make this, but out of the 1x2 tiles with playing card prints, so it's like a pyramid of cards, however, being in college, I don't really have many bricks with me to test out things like this. I did have 1x2 plates though, so I went ahead and built it IRL just to see if it was even possible. It definitely took a bit of time, but it is possible!

I also couldn't put much time into this build as my finals are coming up, and schoolwork has really picked up. Hopefully the next rounds I can do more

This design is an accumulation of different sized volumes in order to create a design. The grouping of volumes creates a larger volume in which acts as one entity. This method of fusing cubes together is not uncommon in modern design, especially architecture or sculptural art.
It uses 82 parts

The Peppermint Paladin
This decorated candied crusader fights to defend the Kingdom of Confection with his sweetened warhammer. He brings sweet victory to his kingdom.
This build uses 97 out of the 101 allowed part count. (The first image has 97, while the second has 96, because I had to remove a single red 1x1 round brick in order for the pose to work).Very glad this contest is back! And I can't wait to see what people have in store for the coming weeks!

I love your homage to Wright's work in the construction of the micro sets and your ability to make them with such a resemblance to the original LEGO sets (Even if the original sets were lacking in color like their real world counterparts). I've always loved Wright's work as an architect, but seeing them in LEGO form like this is definitely cool.
It's always cool to see how different builders can use different techniques in vastly different areas and still be able to achieve the same image. It adds personality to a build, even if two builds are of the same thing.

Pride Rock is an iconic location in the Disney movies. It is an instantly recognizable location that holds so much story to its history. This icon of disney has prevailed through generations with the first movie in 1994 and the live action remake in 2019. This franchise has grown with many people, and holds a dear place in their hearts. This landmark in an icon for the ages
This build uses exactly 101 parts.

I was inspired by the beloved Steve Irwin and his escapades through the territories of large reptiles. This build signifies his passion for nature, and his courageousness when encountering crocodiles. I wish i could do more with this build but with the constraints its hard.
