That was my first idea as well. Good that you have built it.
Thanks! Took me forever to come up with an idea for this one

Scene from the Hobbit where Bard stands on the bridge facing the oncoming dragon Smaug as he destroys the town. Fit the theme "temperature" since it's an icy winter village being destroyed by the heat of flames. Unfortunately only had like 2 hrs to build and edit so it's not as good as it could be, but at least it's something

Happy Good Friday everyone!
"When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." - John 19:30
"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel." - Genesis 3:16
This shows Satan's attack on the cross symbolically, the serpent wrapping around the cross and biting our savior's heel. Jesus died, taking on God's wrath for us.
But stay tuned... the story isn't over!
EDIT: Not for the contest submission, but probably still within 101 pieces, here's the good news of Easter Sunday!
"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said" - Matthew 28:6
"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel." - Genesis 3:16
This shows the glorious day when Jesus rose from the dead, crushing the head of Satan and defeating death!

Hahaha this one is relateable. Glad you were still able to put something together this week!
Thanks! Last week I didn't even have time to throw together a trash entry
...so where did the bottles go
Looks like woomy world beat me to the submission (and with a lot better one too) but here's my tacocat anyway since I don't have any time to build something else this week.
First thing that came to mind was palindromes and this was the easiest to build (Now I'm wishing I went with "yo banana boy" instead )
You can check it out here on Flickr.
Another great feline entry! I agree, very expressive. The eyes are great, and I can imagine exactly what kind of smirking expression the yellow teeth are meant to represent!
Thanks! My mind immediately went to mischievous cats, and then I thought of Garfield- the most iconic one of all. I'm pretty happy with how the eyes turned out- they went through a lot of iterations to get there.
I am amazed at how on point garfield is!! Even with this small selection of prange
Thanks! I wish I could've used some more creative pieces, but most of the orange I had was bows and small plates, so it made it difficult.
Haha, the expression on Garfield's face
Love it!
Thanks! I'm not entirely happy with how the "mustache" turned out, but I''m really happy with the eyes
Garfield "accidentally" kicking Odie off the table (again).
The first thing that came to mind was the slapstick humor of cartoons. I didn't have much time this week (and this is most of my orange pieces), so still not completely happy with the design, but hopefully you can understand the concept. You can check it out here on Flickr.

That cat is genius!! I thought it was a single molded piece at first
The clock keeps ticking.
The rooster crows to mark the dawn before the sun comes up.
The owl hoots to mark the dusk after the sun goes down.
The clock keeps ticking.
Really happy with how it turned out, especially the hair pieces for the birds.
