That corgi is so cute! Impressive work with the queen's outfit too, I especially like the hat

Great use of the printed letter tiles, and that elaborate golden bow is lovely!

Wow, I love this! The idea of the old city flowing into the modern one is great and the christmas baubles work really well for giving a lot of volume at a small piece count. I would have thought such a big hourglass would require too many parts for the support structure, but that minimalist solution with the huge swords works really well.
(I actually thought about using a christmas bauble this round too in one of my myriads of early ideas. I thought of using it as some kind of "time sphere" and maybe putting a naked Terminator inside. )
Thanks so much! The support structure was something I didn't want to spend too many parts on, so I spent some time looking through my collection for very large elements that could also look decorative. The gold blades ended up being perfect!
That's a fantastic build, I love the explanation!
Thank you! I was very excited when I saw the concept art, then a bit concerned I wouldn't be able to portray it convincingly in the brick.
Great idea and excellent built, again!
Thanks
I like it! Nice idea and great build. : palec gor:
Just need to have one like this on my table
Thank you, and it would not be a very expensive model to replicate
I really love the idea of the past literally flowing into the future depicted by different Architecture style!!
Thanks! Great to hear the different time periods were easily distinguished by the architecture style of the cities.
Your idea really stands out! love the christmas bauble use and how you squeezed those sand cities in there
Thank you! The top city was definitely more challenging to fit in, since I only used a 4x4 round plate there to have it sit right in the bottom of the bauble.

Lovely brick built chalkboard, and the addition of the chrome handle to the standard garbage can makes for a huge improvement!

Good attention to detail with the 1x1 plates representing cut hair on the floor : thumbup:

Very relatable scene
Good use of the cheese slope siding technique, and I like that you included the house number.
-
It's cool that you based the scene on real life research facilities. Your representation of their high tech gadgets turned out very well.

Building a hand is difficult at any scale, so I'm super impressed by how good your gauntlet design works here.
Super energy blast effect too -
Such a powerful blow he doesn't even need the hammer
Well done!

Lovely micro train! The motion blur effect added to the background scenery works nicely.

Super fun interpretation of the prompt, and you absolutely nailed the build and presentation. Great cloud from the extinguisher and Wall-E looks perfect

The alternating of white and silver elements for the cannon gives a great sci-fi aesthetic. Certainly looks like a powerful energy coil!

Great use of the lovely variety of printed tiles Vidiyo provided, and I really like your brick built sale sign.

Those bumper cars look like a lot of fun! The dynamic angle for the crash and figure pose add a lot to the scene

Brilliant use of just three elements to make instantly recognizable cleats

Once again it was a pleasure participating and seeing the amazing models everyone came up with!
I was certainly inspired to build some things I never would have otherwise -
After seeing some cool artwork of hourglasses housing scenes of sand I decided to try my hand at something like that.
The result was this model showing cities of sand from two different eras – the past flowing into the present and even creating the future.
Ornament baubles made making the 'glass' easy and the whole build uses 97 elements.

My interpretation was inspired by the Alpha Team theme, which somehow is already 21 years old
One birthday gift I have very fond memories of was #6775 Alpha Team Bomb Squad.
My brothers and I got plenty of good play out of that set, but would have loved to have some sort of opposing vehicle from Ogel to battle against. Enter the new Ogel Blitz Tank!
It uses 100 parts, is complete on all sides, comfortably fits Ogel, plus the turret can rotate and raise or lower.

Good mix of SNOT and studs up building to achieve the proper footprint shape
