My build for the final round 8 of Rogue Olympics 2026 with the theme "Transparent". I built the transparent wings of a dragonfly.

The wings and water are from LEGO bags.

I can't wait to see the builds!

Tools used for detaching or cutting things. Scissors, snap-blade knife, and snippers.

I had the same idea! I ultimately decided against it because I know I wouldn't be able to do it justice. Good job!

My build for round 6 of Rogue Olympics 2026 with the theme "Spark".

While sparks aren't what you want to see on your circuit boards, they're what make them work! I included capacitors, a resistor, a CPU, a driver-looking thing, and LEDs.

The LEDs are from LEGO light bricks that I took apart and the ethernet-looking cable is actually a LEGO Mindstorms NXT cable. The smaller wire on the right is a LEGO train axle in a flex tube.

In memory of all the components I fried this last semester.

My build for round 5 of Rogue Olympics 2026 with the theme "Green".

I was already mostly finished with the MOC when I saw FlatlandBrick's amazing frog, but with frogs, the more the merrier!

The log is a LEGO box, and the flies are LEGO bags.

My entry for round 4 of Rogue Olympics 2026 with the theme "Draft".

This MOC includes a mechanical pencil, a pencil, a triangular scale ruler, a compass, paper with an "R" for "Rogue" on it, and "graph paper" (LEGO bag).

Initially, I was inspired by this build that I made a few years ago for Iron Forge but I knew I had to add more.

To capture the thin metal end of the mechanical pencil I used a metal train axle piece lodged into flex tubing to hold everything together. The compass uses a broken spear tip for the cross part and the screw is from a Legends of Chima buildable Constraction figure. I had a lot of fun figuring out the best way to build the pencil interiors.

Built for round 3 of Rogue Olympics 2026 with the theme "From Above".

I wanted to build something fun on a cloud and after going through a bunch of my own different ideas I remembered that thing in Mario Kart that floats on a cloud. I haven't played much but I've been fished back on course many times by this guy.

There is very slight editing under the arm to remove the string because all the string in this model is one piece of string. The sticker to block off the mouth tile is from a LEGO Store Easter Egg decorating sheet from a few years ago.
