My entry for round three!! Only one thing to say: The Way Is Shut!
-
Hi there Rogues!
Didn't have the inspiration to build anything with the theme 'Risk', but then it came. The idea. The iconic scene from 'Lord of the Rings' where Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas try to convince the dead to help win their war. I always loved the creepy vibe behind that scene, so I decided to build that scene fot this round's theme: Risk.
When I had finished this build, I saw I used too many pieces... it was so good, but I had to crop it the way so it would have exactly 101 pieces, instead of 141 really hate the fact it isn't as good as it used to be, but that's the way. I hope you like it! Beneath the part list you can see the original build if you are curious;) That's NOT for the contest!!

Here's my entry for the second round: Online Building!
-
Hi there everyone!
I made this for Rogue Olympics Round 2!
It's supposed to be a computer with the online building software BrickLink Stud.io, which is used by a lot of builders these days.
I prefer touching the bricks I build with, but with the subject of this round being 'The Internet' I thought this was the perfect opportunity to match real LEGO with the online LEGO.
This was the first time I ever used Molulex, the smaller cousin of LEGO itself! I used it for the bricks on the screen, and the LEGO drawers/organizer. I hope you like it as much as I do, I think it's quite a cute scene

The part count is, after counting it several times, 96 pieces. I hope that's correct, for counting the pieces is definitly the worst of this contest XD sorry for the bad picture, I don't know why it's so bad...

Very nice entries have been made, well done! My entry for round one: On Top of the World

Dear Rogues,
Thinking I couldn't join the first week of the Rogue Olympics because of time, I managed to get some anyway. So here is my entry!
Imagine yourself a man standing on top of a mountain, with the clouds swirling around him, creating a feeling of 'Being on Top of the World.'
Made for the 1st week of Rogue Olympics, with the theme 'Above the Clouds'. The point of the contest is to build something within the theme with a maximum part count of 101 pieces. The part count in this case is 97 pieces, so a close call;) It took half an hour to build an hour to edit
I hope you like it!
Greetings,
Tom(Studs)
Here is the part list, 97 pieces

Hallo zusammen,

Groetjes,
Tom

Nice job, but there is no one working at the moment? The only thing I would add is some interaction from the figures with the boulding process
Thanks, yeah I know. I already tried with figs and it became too busy and messy, so I went for the abandoned construction zone. I hope that makes sense;) Good point tho and I' glad you like it!

Nice approach. Never seen something like that. So wee can see how they did the wall with sticks and clay. Great job.
Thanks, glad you like the under construction part! Had to look it up how they did it back in medieval times

A great build all around from the base to the top of the roof! I really like the textures you create with all the small pieces and techniques. I also like the reduced color palette and that small plume splash of color.
Thanks a lot! Compliments like that are the best, thank you so much!

Hey guys, it's been a while since I actually finished something But here it is: my new MOC!! I started it May last year so I can't call it new anymore.. Had to finish it up for parts. Anyway, Here's a pic!
