This model is very delicate, but so is origami, so I suppose it is an acceptable representation. Origami Crane and Frog

Greetings,
This is my entry for Round 3 of the Rogue Olympics. I tediously built a crane and a frog. They are very fragile but thankfully came together at last. The crane surprisingly only took 40 parts so I added the frog to fill out the scene. I hope you enjoy!
The total model used 78 pieces.
Good luck to the other contestants! This has been a very fun contest so far!

Absolutely getting my vote; this is simply amazing.

Hi,
I'm not sure if submission in this thread is mandatory. If so, thank you for accepting my entry last week. Hopefully by posting here I make it easier for you to keep track of all the entries.
Cheers! And sorry I didn't know about this thread until now.

All should be good now. Thank you for your help!

That's shocking. I feel like it's so easy to dismiss very detailed but basic parts, like the junior walls, or even the trees, but you perfectly balance using them for background detail, and keeping the focus on your main design. In short, this is incredible and inspiring. Great work!

Wonderful sword! I love this choice of object to make with 101 pieces. I don't recognize the source material but I do recognize a great sword when I see one! Excellent!

That is amazing. I feel like we need to develop a new metric on the Lego fandom, a piece count-to-size ratio. Yours is fantastic! Great work.

Hello everyone, here is my creation for the second round of Rogue Olympics. I am very glad to present my rendition of Flik on his dandelion seed from A Bug's Life, as he floats away from the colony. This was very difficult to render in 101 pieces and I'm afraid it only looks good from this angle; but it matches the movie!
And I used 100 parts for this creation.
I hope you enjoy! I built this last night and stayed up late, so I was very surprised to see it was 3 in the morning so fast. I woke up today and remembered the time had changed. I suppose the US does it earlier than Germany. Why is time handled so weirdly?

Toller Einstieg Caleb!
Das ist so eine großartige Portalwaffe, einige wirklich großartige Formen in der Nähe des Mittelteils, um dies alles zusammenzubinden.
Willkommen zum Spaß!
Thanks Simon! I cheated and used Google Translate. Thank you for the kind words!

The forced perspective works great! I love your use of the rocks and leaf piece for distant texture. This is a very clever build and well executed.

Caleb, great to have you!
Beautiful piece usage all-around, and what a way to kick off this year's RogueOlympics. Portal is such a fun IP to play with and you captured the infamous gun perfectly!
Best of luck for the coming rounds!

Thank you very much Rolli! I'm looking forward to seeing what other challenges lie ahead in the competition.

Hi Caleb, so good to have you here! Love your Portal Gun, all the angles and also the part usage!
Best, Ben
Danke, Ben! I'm very glad to be here. This community is awesome. Thanks for checking out the Portal Gun and I'm glad it impresses!

Hello everyone,
Ich heise Caleb und Ich kann ein bissen Deutsch sprechen. But I won't offend you trying to use German in this post ... Though perhaps in the future. I only have one year of college German experience, but I loved it.
Here is my entry to the Rogue Olympics! I had a blast making this "Portal Gun" as I've been wanting to make such a gun for years. The shaping turned out way better than I expected. Pictures do not do it justice, but I hope you enjoy viewing anyway!
Thanks for hosting this fun contest and getting me to finally build this cool MOC! I used exactly 101 pieces.
