Good day
I know it has been some time since I have shared a build in the forums (since the end of Rogue Olympics). I thought I would post my recent table lamp that I built, for the recent round of the Bio-Cup 2021 Tournament. Special thanks to Rolli for providing his perspective on areas to refine in the design. I hope you enjoy.
Thanks!

"Do you play croquet?" - I thought the upside down flamingos as croquet mallets from "Alice in Wonderland", and the bent over cards as wickets, would fit the "Upside Down" theme quite well. Uses exactly 101 parts.
Thanks for letting me compete in the Rogue Olympics. I have had a lot of fun building for it, and have enjoyed seeing everyone's creativity. Good luck to you all!

Ahh, that proverb is probably why Rolli has taken it so well, as it was to be expected (that, and the mouse is cute too)
I left the explanation of the cheese a little vague, to work on a few levels:
- If someone is not familiar with the "Rolli" mouse story, then it is simply a reaction of seeing a mouse at a restaurant cafe (and the cheese is for her)
- If someone is familiar with the story, then perhaps the scene is a "Blind Date" that is gone wrong for the woman, not realizing that her date with Rolli is actually with the Rolli mouse... (and the cheese is for him)

My wife asked: "Who is Rolli?" and "Is the cheese for him / her?" ...
I must admit that I have no clue either, who Rolli is? Is there a story behind?
"Rolli" is an affectionate avatar for RogueBricks very own Markus Rollbühler. It goes back to the Iron Forge competition of 2020, when he confused the end day of first round. The error inspired me to create an entry about it based on the nursery rhyme "Hickory Dickory Dock". From there, the mouse was named "Rolli", and people have been putting him in vignettes ever since.
As for who the cheese is for, in France I think it is for everyone! Bon appetite!

Danke.... for the "Monochrome" category I almost built a huge winter landscape, as I have quite a few of those large 1x6x5 panels in white (light grey ones being used here).

Like what you did, I have two questions. That cilinders are behind the fall and what are those tent pieces?
Yes. Two cylinders are directly behind the falls, which I chose to use so that I could rotate the side walls better and slide them closer to the waterfall. However, I then noticed that I still needed to hide small gaps between those sides and the middle, so the "extra cylinders" are behind the build so you cannot see through the gaps.
The tent pieces are the 1x1 double slope part.

Thought I would try some microscale nature - "Mammoth Falls Campground"

Danke. Thanks everyone. I am glad that you are enjoying the humor, and my attempts at Deutsche entries (like in this pub, and the Pied Piper of Hamlin). I look forward to the days when I can visit Deutschland again, and we can all go to a pub together... (but NOT for the purposes of recreating this scene... = O )

"Groß und Klein" / "Big and Small" ... enough said.

"Big and Small" / "Big and Small" ...
Enough said.
Uses 93 parts (in picture, forgot to take the two 1x1 plates off of the minifig legs)

Very nice pose and perspective!

Very nice! I had also considered doing this trick. Really nice execution with the 101 parts!

thank you all
Haha wow, you've got a lot of them. : D
I like the kitbash for the Pied Piper, looks very much like him in fairy tale books or smth.
Well, the "magic" here is also "photoshop magic" (two mice placed in A LOT of locations, and with a lot of photos taken and merged, which I felt was still in the spirit of the "Magical" theme this round) ... I would much rather have had the "magic" of finding a Bricklink vendor that had that many to purchase though (or have the Pied Piper's flute, if it could get them for me)
Thank you on the minfigure as well. Surprisingly, I did not have a Forestman hat, which traditionally people associate with the Pied Piper, so a kitbash was the next best thing.
