This round of the RogueOlympics starts this moment and ends Sunday April 19 2026 11:59 PM CEST.

Theme

This round's theme is: "Spark".

Sounds easy but you are – as for the rest of the contest – restricted to using only 101 elements.
Build whatever you like but stick to the element limit.

How do you enter?

Create a thread for your finished entry in the MOC-forum in a thematically fitting sub forum and
add the matching tag "RogueOlympics 2026" to your entry.
Then please enter your MOC details into this form.

Diese Runde der RogueOlympics läuft ab sofort bis Sonntag, den 19.04.2026 23:59 Uhr MEZ.

Thema

Das Thema dieser Runde lautet: "Funke".

Klingt einfach, dennoch seid ihr, wie beim restlichen Contest, auf maximal 101 Steine beschränkt.
Baut was ihr möchtet, aber nur mit maximal 101 Teilen.

Wie nehmt ihr teil?

Postet euren fertigen Beitrag in ein passendes Unterforum im Eigenbauten-Forum und
verseht euren Beitrag mit dem entsprechenden Tag "RogueOlympics 2026".
Anschließend tragt ihr bitte eure Beitragsinfos in diesem Formular ein.

Wie jetzt? Es gibt schon wieder Regeln?! Endet das denn nie?!

Das Leben wäre so karg wie eine Wüste aus unbeschmiertem, kühlschrankkaltem Toast, würde es nicht durch Beschränkungen zu einem karamellisierten Cheese Grill gemacht werden - oder? Sicher, darüber lässt sich vortrefflich streiten. Doch was das Regelwerk, welches jeden unserer Contests begleitet, angeht, sind sich wahrlich alle einig! Falls nicht bereits geschehen, schnappt euch euren Nach-Mitternachts-Snack und stopft immer mal ein Häppchen unseres Regelwerks dazwischen: RogueBricks Standard-Regelwerk

Wichtig: Postet mindestens zwei Bilder. Einmal von eurem MOC und ein weiteres, das zeigt, wieviele Teile ihr verbaut habt.

Ignite the Spark of Space Exploration

Here's my 6th entry for the 2026 Rogue Olympics. The prompt was "Spark".

Made with exactly 100 parts.

A spark to ignite the thrusters and to inspire the new generations looking at the space, like Artemis 2 did last week.

Not inspired by any rocket in particular, just trying to make a good use of the parts available. The cloud pieces worked quite well and I managed to throw in also some Minecraft and Super Mario parts and even a shell piece. The thrusters are made with inside out tyres.

Heutzutage haben immer mehr Leute ein elektrisches Kochfeld. Ich übrigens auch.
Ich hätte fast vergessen, dass wir früher mit Gas gekocht haben, das wir immer mit einem Gasfeuerzeug entzündet haben, das Funken erzeugte.
Daran musste ich denken, als ich das Wort „Funke“ hörte.

My build for round 6 of Rogue Olympics 2026 with the theme "Spark".

While sparks aren't what you want to see on your circuit boards, they're what make them work! I included capacitors, a resistor, a CPU, a driver-looking thing, and LEDs.

The LEDs are from LEGO light bricks that I took apart and the ethernet-looking cable is actually a LEGO Mindstorms NXT cable. The smaller wire on the right is a LEGO train axle in a flex tube.

Ich hoffe alle kennen das Gefühl, wenn es bei einem gefunkt hat und sich verliebt. Mein Paar hier ist zusammen aufgewachsen, hat im Sandkasten gespielt und ist gemeinsam zur Schule gegangen. Als sie Teenager geworden sind, hat es dann gefunkt. Nur leider ist einer von beiden dann weg gezogen. Beide waren natürlich sehr traurig. Die Jahre vergehen, beide werden erwachsen. Hier kommt mein Beitrag zur sechsten Runde der RogueOlympics 2026 zum Thema "Funke".

Manchmal, in seltenen Momenten im Leben, wenn man viel Glück hat, springt der Funke über.
Und noch seltener hält er ein Leben lang an.

Meine kleine Geschichte spielt vor langer Zeit, als die Fotografie noch "analog" war.
In einem Kurs zur Dunkelkammertechnik lernen sich zwei Menschen kennen.

Damals wurde noch auf Film fotografiert, bevorzugt auf Schwarz-Weiss-Material. Der Film wurde bei vollkommener Dunkelheit aus…

Nachdem ich in der letzten Runde schon Bezug auf meinen Lieblingsmaler genommen habe, kam ich am Ende meiner Überlegungen auch wieder bei René Magritte an:

Zum Entzünden einer Pfeife wurde ein Streichholz aus der Schachtel entnommen. An der Reibefläche entlang gerissen, so dass ein Funke entstand.
Nach dem Entflammen des Tabaks, wurde das Streichholz ein- zweimal geübt geschüttelt und in den Aschenbecher gelegt.
Eigentlich sollte es ein gemütlicher…
