It would have been a shame for me to have this LEGO Adventurers Zeppelin in my possession and not to use it for the Adventure Round of RogueOlympics. It had to be done. The build uses 100 parts.

well if you have it you should use it! Great build! Simple yet elegant!! Wait, we were in the same iron forge group with Elias, right?
Now we are in the Thunderclub! Yours is the third Johnny for this round!

Pretty sure a lot of people have childhood memories looking at your build! Perfectly captured the vibe of the legendary Adventureres theme while building smoother, more studless than back in around 2000.

I am checking all the entries for round 2 and I am seeing a lot Adventure themed builds after I uploaded mine.
Haha, and now I am back on a memory lane, even when I was already an adult round the year 2000. I still want to have this zeppelin so badly.
Great build, Ted! As Marcel said: "Perfectly captured the vibe from back in the days."
Best, Ben

Danke meine Freunde. Nothing says "adventure" quite like Johnny Thunder and Indiana Jones!

Lovely flying machine!

Beautiful zeppelin. The red and black color scheme is very elegant, and this is another of the entries that gives the impression of much more than 100 parts.
Especially considering you included 3 minifigures! -
Every time I see someone using that zeppelin I end up on Bricklink, trying to buy one. To then get a heart attack and quickly close the tab.
So thank you for giving me that experience again, Ted, as I do love seeing them used!
I love how classic adventurers you went with the color scheme and on how many adventures you're taking little rolli! Great stuff as always!

Thanks Isaac. The first draft had already reached 125 pieces before I even added the minifigs. Eventually I was able to streamline it enough to squeeze those three on, plus the Lil' Rolli mouse... definitely felt the pain that LEGO designers must feel having to get their part counts & set costs lower

Thanks Rolli - I'm just glad that the 2011 Rock & Roll Steampunk Contest didn't grab your attention way back then, otherwise it might have been YOU to win it off of Rod Gillies...
